I registered and it says that I qualified for 5000 bonus points every third stay (not nearly the benefit of double points, but better than not qualifying at all). Called the "customer service" line to try and get signed up for double points instead.
"Sorry sir, what bonus you qualify for is set by corporate"
"Oh, ok. What do they use to determine what I qualify for? Is it status? Is it member number (e.g. 1-3 qualify for XXX, 4-6 qualify for YYY, 7-10 qualify for ZZZ)?"
"No sir, it is set by corporate."
"Yes, I understand that policy is set in corporate. How do they set it?" <becoming a little annoyed>.
"I have no idea sir. You should ask them."
"Well, how do I contact them?"
"No idea sir."
Customer service RULES! By the way, someone else on my project was told that they didn't qualify when they tried online. However, when they called, they were able to be signed up. So, you might try calling, instead of registering online. . .and, I am platinum and only moderately eliteist. |

| I just called 801-468-4000, and spoke to a lady who was able to add me to the promotion. I suggest calling as well. |

| FYI - You have to use your Visa card to get double points, you can't use AMEX. |
