Update: We are having some technical difficulties, probably related to the latest MSN Messenger update. We will post the Excel client as soon as the issues are worked out.

Now, chat discreetly using this Excel-based MSN client. It's a little clunky, and requires MSN Messenger open in the background, but hell, now you can look like you're doing real work!

Step 1: Open MSN Messenger and log in

Step 2: Open Excel spreadsheet (navigate to "Real Work" tab)

Step 3: Chat!

Brought to you by the good folks at GDL.

Discuss issues/bugs, suggest changes/improvements, or praise the glory of this excel msn client below.

I prefer to stick with using SimpLite for Yahoo messenger for encrypted chatting...only drawback is that both parties need to have it installed...plus how can you go wrong with Yahoo's avatars? Very Happy

This is genius..I've seen something similar where the chat client mimics Adobe Photoshop's interface. If this works, it would be bee-yoo-tiful.

Yea, sorry about that guys. We are having some compatibility issues. Long story short, the latest firm-wide upgrade of MSN Messenger screws things up..we'll keep you posted.
