An 'As-is' Assessment of GDiFC

I just want to spend a few moments on the current state of the site. Without further ado, let's jump right in:
-With over 2,000 visits a week and climbing, our site has slowly gained its reputation for being the one-stop shop for what consulting life is really like. Well, okay, we know our stories are a tad exagerrated (only slightly, most of this shit we're spewing is true... really, I promise!).
-Some of our long-time readers may have noticed that we've brought in a handful of guest authors over the past few months. We continue to seek new authors who can de-throne the top writers, particularly myself. After all, my name is totaldickhead, the very essence of the proverbial management consultant. In allowing guest authors to write for us, we've witnessed some new personalities, writing styles, and writing forms used. Some of this may have confused some of our readers. We're working on that and trying to tie the stories together a bit better, keeping them more organized and not so all-over-the map all the time.
-Our spelling sucks. This is for several reasons unfortunately. Even a few of our writers are inept spellers and they still charge out $350 an hour to desperate clients. Simply amazing. In any case, we are working on improving our posting pipeline to enforce a more rigid review process (read: someone other than the author of a post reviews each post). What we have now consists of WordPress's built-in save-as-draft or publish functions which are not particularly designed for a formal review process.
-Our grammar also sucks. We'll be working on this in the same way we're working on the spelling problem.
-We love to laugh at our funny shit so we continue to seek new links to other blogs and sites that make fun of related professions. If you have links to other funny sites making fun of their authors' professions, please do submit them by writing to editor@gettingdrunkinfirstclass.com
-We are looking to add more interactive and community driven features: wiki-like features, a forum, a better and simpler threaded commenting system for posts
