So we had our project poker night last night and had a pretty good showing. The partner and PM (senior manager) and a lot of other people. Anyways two funny quotes really stuck out in my mind that I think you guys will enjoy.

1) We sucked down quite a few beers between 8 and 11:30pm and were nearing the last few. At about 11:45 the PM looks at the supply and asks "we might need to order up some more beers, who else is drinking?". Without even looking up from his cards the partner says "everyone" and proceeds to order up another like 30.

2) One of the interns here was interviewing for a full time BTA position the next moring and didn't want to have too many beers last night so he'd be "fresh" for the interview at 9am. The PM (who's fairly drunk at this point) looks at him and says "if you showed up for an interview with me wreaking of booze and said you were up all night drinking and playing poker with Deloitte people...I'd probably recommend you for a manager position"

haha sounds like a pretty sweet project you got there.

why would an intern need to interview for a full time BTA position?

He's a controller intern and wants to get a BTA offer. And ya, the project is pretty awesome Smile

I was on one of those projects. There was a manager who hosted a game almost every week in the Bay Area. I would show up and there were Deloitte folks there from different projects. There were alos people there from the client side as well. I where are these projects now and how can I get on one?
